Recital Week
NO CLASSES THIS WEEK
Wed. April 29th 3:30 Start we should be done around 5:30ish - Dress Rehearsal
Arrival Times
3:30 PM - Classes Starting at or after 4:15 PM
3:45 PM - Preschool & 3:30 PM Classes
This Rehearsal is at The Marblehead Veterans Middle School
Preschool Students may leave when their dance(s) are done, all other dancers stay to end to practice bows
Arrive in your first costume with hair & makeup done
Recital Dates & Times
Friday, May 1st - 6pm start time (Recital runs for about 90-120 minutes, this includes a 15 minute intermission)
Arrival Times
5:15 PM - Classes starting at or after 4:15 PM
5:30 PM - Preschool (1:15 PM Class Only) & 3:30 PM Classes
Note: (Preschool 12:30 PM Class is not included in this night.)
Saturday, May 2nd - 5pm start time (Recital runs for about 90-120 minutes, this includes a 15 minute intermission)

4:15 PM - Classes starting at or after 4:15 PM
4:30 PM - Preschool Both Classes & 3:30 PM Classes
Note: 12:30 pm Preschool students need to be picked up at intermission by one parent. They can join you in your seats or leave for Act 2.

Costume Care
Store costumes outside of their original bag to release any wrinkles. Do not Iron.
Do not wear costumes prior to Dress Rehearsal.
Transport costumes in a garment bag labeled with your dancers name.

Hair & Makeup Guidelines
Makeup
As we prepare for our recital, we wanted to send a quick reminder about stage makeup. Stage lighting is very bright and can wash out dancers’ facial features, so makeup helps ensure their expressions are visible from the audience.
Please remember that stage makeup is not meant to make dancers look older or overly glamorous—its purpose is simply to help their faces show up clearly under the lights so the audience can see their smiles and expressions.
We recommend a simple look that includes foundation or powder for even skin tone, blush for color, neutral eyeshadow, mascara, and a bright stage lipstick.
Thank you for helping your dancer look their best on stage. We can’t wait to see everyone shine!
